Hi everyone, did I use the "desperately" adverb in a correct way?
"In developed countries, parents always seem to be desperately busy with their job to spend time with their children"

Yes, that use of desperately is fine. However, you need to change the sentence slightly, to '..to be too desperately busy with their job to spend time...'.

Ms. Metcalf is correct. Another sentence could possibly be "In developed countries, parents seem have no time to spend with their children due to always being desperately busy."
