Vocabulary Hi, there Where should I put “dang” in this sentence? “And, yes, It is totally possible to be a DANG sensual and hot chick but also deep, smart and successful” or “ And, yes, It is totally possible to be a sensual and hot DANG chick but also deep, smart and successful” Thank you!!!

Perhaps the slang word "damn" would work better here. I have heard the word "damn" used as an intensifier (similar to the word "very"). For example, "That is a DAMN fine woman you have there. I wish I could find a beautiful girl like that." I haven't heard "dang" used in that same slang way to mean "very" in a positive way. Maybe some people do. Personally, I like the sentence better without the word "dang" or "damn." But maybe you want to add a cool, slang feeling to the sentence? That's fine if it is casual conversation (not formal writing). If so, I would put the word "dang" or "damn" in the same place in the sentence that you would put the word "very" : "It is totally possible to be a DAMN sensual and hot chick" or "It is totally possible to be a DANG sensual and hot chick." Because the words "damn" or "dang" are usually adjectives that have a negative meaning, I would not put them immediately before "chick" (or any type of person). "Dang chick" and "damn chick" sound like you dislike that woman...or maybe you dislike all women. With the right tone of voice, "damn sensual" can give the idea of "VERY sensual." So, maybe "dang sexual" will work in the same way (with the right crowd and the right tone of voice) ?

The person who commented is correct. The word "dang" is pretty awkward in such a sentence as this. Dang just does not work appropriately with the this type of sentence. It is possible to add dang into this sentence, but it would make the sentence sound very awkwardly like improper slang.
