"I feel blue" means I fee sad (This is common) "He had a blue with this parents" means "He had an argument/fight with his parents" (This is slang, but common where I am) "I have a blue shirt" (colour) "New York is a blue state" (A US political term - 'blue' states usually vote Democrat Party)

Additionally, blue can be a verb. To blue the wall == To make the wall appear blue. To blue the blouses == To use "bluing" to wash white blouses. "Bluing" was a product used before chlorine bleach. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluing_(fabric)

Also, "Blues" is a style of music. A "blue" state is a state (in the US) that is more liberal or is primarily Democrat in terms of political affiliation.
