Commas with both, including, and among which
Could someone, please, check if the commas in the following sentences are correct?
1. The book includes illustrations by the famous Russian artists, including A,B, and C.
2. The book describes political situation in both France and Spain.
3. The book features stories by the Russian writers, among which the most famous are A and B.
4. He left for Paris, where he was warmly welcomed by his long-time friend Maria and her husband, a famous Belgian writer, A.

Commas are well placed in all the sentences.
In sentence #4, there is a general rule that may help you.
If the main clause can stand by itself without the 'where clause', then a comma should be used.
In your example, "He left for Paris" can stand by itself, so a comma is used before the 'where'.
If you had said, "I went where it was cold", you would use no comma as "I went" doesn't really stand by itself.
