Sorry for that Nanren, the sentence is from the subtitle of a video so maybe the subtitle is wrong. I didn't know it.

A portfolio is literally a large flat bag used to carry large sheets of paper or plans. Here it is used in a more figurative sense to mean a collection of work or projects. Each of you had, in your collections of work, elements (parts) that suited the stimulus. A comma (,) between portfolio and elements would have saved you a lot of confusion.
