In english this phrases is used to mean to move on from something emotionaly like a death or a tramatic event. Is there a equivlent phrases in chinese? thanks

There is no exact same phrase in mandarin. We have different sayings in different scenarios. Based on the meaning you wrote here, we can comfort someone who just broke up or who is suffering under some misfortunes with “一切都会过去的” and “生活还在继续” . If we are persuading someone to move on, we can say “我希望你早日从痛苦中走出来”。

if you want to express "something emotionaly like a death or a tramatic event",the equivalent translation in Chinese:看淡,放下,不再纠结,不再执着.
