I would like to know the exact definition of duck into. I also want to know how to use it in a sentence.

'Duck into' "We ducked into the tunnel to avoid the police." Duck = to lower or bend. Ducked into = To quickly enter a location. Almost always used to avoid something i.e. Avoid the weather, avoid detection, avoid someone you don't want to see.
