Do you know what is “ bullet screen”?
It’s one of the features in some video streaming apps in China. It’s basically real-time comments from viewers that fly across the screen like bullets.
I wonder if this phrase makes sense to you? If not, is there anything similar to that in English ?

Hi,
since it is a very unique phrase made for something new and up-to-date, I think there is no other phrase for that. It is a very specific phenomenon which requires such special phrase.

Hi
Yeah. It is called Bullet screen in English but this feature, as far as I know, is only popular in China and Japan. In China you call it Dan’mu. I found it a bit annoying when I first time saw it. Maybe because I don’t read Chinese characters!
