Imagine/forget it Hi, there Are "imagine" and "forget it" used int he following way in American English? "if God takes such good care of birds, IMAGINE their own children! He will take much better care of you" "If your father got mad at you because you didn't do the dishes, imagine when he finds out you scratched his car" "If you think you are in big trouble... forget (about) it . I have a thesis to do and I haven't even started it" "John does drink a lot! And Bernard? Forget it! He drinks like a fish!" Are those sentences wrong? Thank you!

These sentences are fine. You are using 'Imagine' and 'Forget it' emphatically.
