What does results oriented mean?

hello,
if someone is a 'result oriented', it means that he/she focuses on achieving the goal / purpose rather than concentrating on HOW the tasks are done.
in a Sales Company for an instance, the boss would likely to say:
"I want you guys to make a $20,000 sales this month. do whatever you can to achieve it!"
so, the boss seems to be not so much concerned about how his 'guys' would do to hit the target. he (boss) just wanted to have a $20,000 sales by all means.
I hope it helps.
:)
