How do you say 'because" in korean when answering a question? Like someone may ask 'Why are you here?" and the answer would be "Because of my mom" How would you say that in korean?

If your close friend is asking you, you say 엄마 때문에. If you should asnwer in a respectful manner, say 엄마 때문에요.
