Hello Safaa, This time Dickens ;) "There is wisdom of the head, and a wisdom of the heart." The seat of knowledge is in the head, the head's wisdom is knowledge, yet real wisdom resides in the heart. Wisdom of the head is logic, IQ, analysis. It is linear and necessarily sequential. Logic says if A equals B, and B equals C, then A equals C. But try living a deeply meaningful and satisfying life relying only on logic. Just try falling in love, logically. Forgiving or accepting forgiveness, logically. Wisdom of the heart on the other hand is an intuitive discipline that weaves parts into a whole. Wisdom "sees" those astonishing, pregnant moments in the human experience when A equals B and B equals C, and, therefore, A equals the whole alphabet! Wisdom of the heart is synthesis, not analysis....

Hi Safaa, yes this quote is from Charles Dickens and it means that often our heart will tell us one thing and our head another and depending on the situation there is wisdom in each occurrence. Getting your heart in line with your head is hard work.
