What's the meaning or analysis of Henry David Thoreau's quotes?
I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately,
I wanted to suck out all the marrow of life,
To put to rout all that was not life
and not when I had come to die, discover I had not lived.

Hi. In these quotes Henry David Thoreau, praises the practice of living his life fully, consciously, and reverently in every moment. He wants to be able to fully immerse himself in every moment and to do even the most mundane activities with full attention and involvement. He wants his mind to wander less and focus fully on the present moment. He means that he thought that he should be able to think less and be more in tune with life.
