What does it mean"turns me off"in the following sentence?
"He really turns me off"...........does it mean that I really dislike him,or something else?

Yes, that's it!
Turns me off = dislike
Turns me on = like (like very much!! but this has a sexual meaning, so be careful when you use it)

i think it is synonymous with dislike...."turns me off" it's like an idiomatic expression
