Hi Safaa, this quote comes from Hamlet. The meaning is that you need to be yourself and know yourself. People shouldn’t lie to themselves nor anyone else. Nowadays some people tend to live life like a movie, pretending to be like their favourite movie, sports or rock star, instead of being what they truly are. Shakespeare was saying be true to yourself and to others, that way there will be no confusion, no illusion.
