DO you agree with flat marrige?
裸婚!没车没房没戒指。只有一张结婚证!Yeah~that means the lovers get marry without car .house,even marrige rings.

In china, well in most asian cultures anyways you want a husband that can provide for you. Flat marriage just means they get married without the pomp. No ceremony, no wedding dinner or like Nemo said, no car no rings etc....

Peachey maybe it means marriage for having permanent residence in some country, marriage with citizen of some country for that.

I've never heard the expression "flat marriage" (unless you mean a marriage that has 'gone flat', like a tyre) - could you explain a bit more?
