hi Mabaet,
yes, a lot of "single" tagalog phrase has many variations.
"are you sure?"
- 'sigurado ka?'
- 'nakatitiyak ka ba?'
- 'sure ka?' (very common... hehehe)
"I love you."
- 'mahal kita.'
- 'iniibig kita.'
- 'labs kita.' (colloquial)
"braggart!"
- 'mayabang!'
- 'hambog!'
- 'mahangin!'
"I promise."
- 'pangako ko.'
-' peks man.' (childish language)
"let's go!"
- 'tayo na! / 'tara na'
- 'punta na tayo!'
there are too many indeed! it's better to ask us a specific phrase and we'll be glad to tell you the equivalent Tagalog phrase.
