How can you pronounce "puss"? I found two different ways to pronounce it: [pʃs, pəs], but I cannot understand.

I pronounce it as"puor sss" My dictionary says "poo s" and I checked the internet, "Poo s" actually sounds like my "puor sss"

"puss" is pronounced poohs and is an affectionate term for a cat "pus" pronounced as "pas"is a yellowish liquid that isa sign of infection in a wound.
