When did most people in your city in Russia or Ukraine start receiving Internet service? I ask because I remember reading about 6 or 7 years ago that most Russians/Ukrainians had to go to internet cafes. Here in America, it became rather common in 1998, 1999 and by 2000 the majority of people.

Hello SirSteve. Let me see..I think it was something around 2000-2002. I recall those days with dialup connection, my first computer with 16 Mb RAM ,166 MGz processor (Intel inside) and "Windows98" OS .Looking back I still shudder at the thought how I did manage to kill so much time sitting in front of 14' monitor and hours were crept by while I was inexplicably happy.=)

well? if we are talking about MOST people in Russia, I'd vote for about 2006-2008 judging from the number of members of social resources
