What's the difference between "hate" and "detest"?
There are a lot of words have the same meaning,I don't know how to use them,I always confuse!

Even we native English speakers discuss this. Don't worry about being confused.
We usually conclude that "detest" is stronger than "hate". Perhaps because we think "hate" is a simple feeling, but "detest" requires more thought?
