I hear that from my friend all the time...lol
It's not very polite to say to others...I don't think there is a difference....same meaning but the slang term is much stronger than "nonsense"

You can say "nonsense" in polite company.

Nonsense is an English word, bullshit is a slang, meaning:
Nonsense: [n] a message that seems to convey no meaning (胡说)
Bullshit: [n] unacceptable behavior (especially ludicrously false statements); "I put up with a lot of bullshit from that jerk"; "what he said was mostly bull" (廢話, 放屁)

nonsense是比较文明的说法,相当于我们说的:别胡说八道了
而bullshit就是屁话的意思了,eg:cut your bullshit
