When people say "something sucks", is it positive or negative?
For example:
Twitter sucks!
Life sucks!
I looked it up in my dictionary and the answer is negative.
"
sth sucks
spoken not polite used when you dislike something very much or think something is very bad
If you ask me, the whole thing sucks.
"
But when I saw this phrase in the movies, I felt it's a positive word like "awesome" cause only that explanation made everything works...
