「しかし」「ですが」「だけど」の違いはなんですか?

しかし: formal. Sounds strong and rigid if used in speaking.
ですが: formal and polite. Sounds softer.
だけど: casual. Not appropriate in formal situations.

All of these means=but.
For example...
社長はそうおっしゃいますが、しかし、わたしは反対です。
社長はそうおっしゃたんですが、わたしは反対します。
社長はそういってるけどねぇ、だけど、わたしは反対だなぁ。
CEO did say so, but I oppose it.
