Could anyone recommend me any Metal/Rock Scottish bands that use bagpipes? Hello everyone, Two days ago I heard nice piece of music. It was a rock combined with Scottish folklore, I was able to hear simultaneously electric guitar and bagpipe. It raised my curiosity to the point that I am asking earlier mentioned question. Thank you in advance. Cheers, MateuszThere should be "someone" instead of "anyone" in the title of the thread, sorry for that.

I'm not sure if I got you taste correctly, but "Flogging Molly" is one of the most known (and best, imo) Celtic rock bands. They use many traditional intruments: violin, whistle, flute, bagpipe and combine their sounds with their characterictic punk riffs. The only problem is that they're Irish/American :) For the Scottish band I truly recommend "Wolfstone" to you.

hum... i don't know any scottish metal rock band that uses bagpipes but there is a band I know that you probably know too that is called "Dropkick Murphys" they are not scottish (irish american), their subgenre is Celtic punk/hardcore punk but they heavely use bagpipes in many of their songs, maybe you are talking about this band. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dropkick_Murphys http://www.dropkickmurphys.com/
