I want to answer, "지난 밤에 잘 잤어요?" with, "Yes, I slept well." How to say?

I'd say "잘 잤어요".
If someone uses -요 with you, it means they're interested in getting along with you. So if you answer with 'ㅂ니다' to the question that's using -요, they could be put off.
