It can be read as かなた、あなた、あちら, but かなた is the most common, I think.
The word is often used in literature and songs.
虹の彼方に(にじのかなたに) Over the Rainbow
恩讐の彼方に(おんしゅうのかなたに)Beyond the love and hate

Just another example.
山のあなたの 空遠く、幸い住むと人のいう (Ueber den Bergen, weit zu wandern Sagen die Leute, wohnt das Glueck. ドイツ語の詩)
これは「あなた」ですね。

Yes, it can also read as かなた and あなた.
