moonlighting: to work at an additional job after one's regular, full-time employment, as at night.
example:
One who gets a ph.d in physics and is a professor, but then takes a night job as a janitor! :P

Moonlighting or moonlighter refer to :
To work at a secondary job, usually in the evening or during the night, often secretly, so that one doesn't have to pay tax on the extra money earned.And that is the simple definition of moon lighting.
