Do we say "give the answer to a question/ an exercise "or "give the answer of a question/an exercise"?Thanks.

answer+of = X
you can't ask "give the answer of a question/an exercise" .
but you can say : ^_^
answer + to
answer + for
give an answer to a question
Can you give me an answer to this question
Please give me answers for these interview questions.
