a streak= a line (here it means a period of time when you continue losing /winning or being successful/ failing.
Straight= one after the other; in a row
So:
1. She lost 12 games in a row ( one after the other, without winning even one game in this period).
2. Finally she ended that long period of losing, losing, losing, losing. = She won a game after losing 12.
In other words: There were 13 games:
1. She lost 2. She lost 3. She lost 4. She lost 5. She lost 6. She lost 7. She lost 8. She lost 9. She lost 10. She lost 11. She lost 12. She lost............and finally 13. She won!
