What does "lectured" mean?
Context:
"It was my turn to be lectured."

To be lectured is to be subjected to that long speech your parents give about what you should or shouldn't do, usually after getting in trouble for something. You can't (or shouldn't!) say anything in return so it's like sitting in class or receiving a lecture.
