Korean adjectives you get will be like 이쁜, 밝은 - they are used to describe a pro/noun. Here're some tricks to make them into a descriptive verb. If one ends in [ㄴ], remove the [ㄴ] and add [다] to it. 이쁜 pretty - 이쁘 - 이쁘다 to be pretty. - 영희는 되게 이쁘다, 영희는 되게 이뻐요 Yeonghi is very pretty. If one ends in 은, remove the 은 and add 다 to it. 밝은 bright - 밝 - 밝다 to be bright - 이 색깔은 밝다, 이 색깔은 밝아요. This color is bright. If one ends in 운, remove the 운 and add ㅂ다. 귀여운 cute - 귀여 - 귀엽다 to be cute 이 강아지는 귀엽다, 이 강아지는 귀여워요. This puppy is cute. Yes, to say "She's a very pretty woman", we use the copula "이다 or 이에요/예요". 되게 이쁜 여자예요. (She's) a very pretty woman.
