another simple question!
he is tall,is he? so ,this is a correct question?if so ,does it mean to ask whether he is tall?
besides,he is tall, isn't he?this is a question to ask whether he is tall? it is accordiing to the expanation of the grammer book.however i preper to believe that it is a statement that he is tall surely without doubt.
what do you think about my understanding of them?

He's tall, isn't he? = Statement he is tall, but checking with friend. (Otherwise known as the question tag)
He's tall, is he? = Asking if he's tall, but with a definite interest in the answer!
PS..I mucked up the previous one. It was all wrong.
