A term of endearment? Well the French use many terms of endearment. I’ve never heard of a “schobe”, but the only term of endearment that translates into a vegetable that I know is “chou” (the French word for cabbage). “Mon chou” or “mon petit chou” (my little cabbage) are used to mean something like “my dear”. The phrase “un bout de chou” refers to a small child.

Hi are you sure the word wasn't 'shobe'? If it was then according to the urban dictionary online, "shobe" is short for "showboat". A negative nickname for Los Angeles Lakers player, Kobe "Bean" Bryant. This nickname came about due to Bryant's penchant for playing as if he were the only player on the court. I.E. I'd take Shaq over Shobe any day. Shobe is a damn ball hog! Source(s): http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Shobe In German 'schobe' means to push
