What does "fly you over" mean in the following sentence?
This is a line from a movie, where a guy wants date the girl, before he moves to work in New York, he says to the girl, "I'll fly you over for the weekend."

mabie he will make possible for her to fly to him.

It means that he will pay for her plane ticket. The expression makes no logical sense, but expressions rarely do.
