The most general usage is indicating the departure order for traffic such as train,bus . 先発(senpatsu) is the earliest one , 次発(jihatsu) is the next , and 次次発or次々発(jijihatsu) is available it means following the next.

先発 = next broadcast (the broadcast coming up) 次発 = the broadcast after the next
