What does 되게 means? How is it used?

There are two meanings in it.^^
1) kinda slang meaning "very" "really" (= 非常,实在,真的。。)
It's very hot today
> standard one : "오늘 진짜(=정말) 덥다."
> using the slang '되게', "오늘 되게 덥다."
2) It could be a part of "되게하다" (which is sorta conjugation of "되다(to become)")
meaning "to make something happen" or "to make somebody something"
He made his son a doctor.
그는 자기 아들을 의사가 되게했다.
= He forced his son to become a doctor.^^
