A forgery is a fake version of something, usually a painting or document. A fraud and a swindle are basically the same thing: a trick to get money from someone. But "fraud" is the legal term, and usually applies to financial crimes like Ponzi schemes, insider trading, etc. Whereas a "swindle" can just be one person tricking another to get money.
