Давайте есть! Давайте покушаем! Давайте поедим! (в принципе, все три варианта почти не различаются)

Давайте покушаем \ поедим \ перекусим(slang) are all suggestions to have a meal. Давайте кушать \ есть is more like saying let's start eating, don't use them, unless that's what you mean.

Russians like eating :) That because we have ways to say "let's eat" a lot. Пора бы подкрепиться. Давайте поедим/покушаем/перекусим/заморим червячка/отобедаем. Грубый слэнг типа: давайте похаваем/пожрём; давайте заточим.
