"I like to run" and "I like running" have exactly the same meaning. It doesn't matter which you use.

Some people believe that there is a slight difference: 1. I like TO RUN. You are just making a general statement. Question: What do you like to do when you have time? Answer: I like to run, to swim, and to walk. 2. I like RUNNING. You may be doing this activity when you say this sentence. Question: You have been running for an hour. But you don't look tired. Why? Answer: Because I like running. I am now going to run for two more hours.

like doing = enjoy doing (= general preference, hobbies, interests) I like driving (in general) like to do = I think it's right/normal to do (even if you don't enjoy it) I like to clean my house at weekends (I think it's right to do so, even if I don't really enjoy the process) But in the modern language the difference is very subtle and you may use both variants
