Would you pronounce 'Trip' as 'Treep'? Chances are if you grew up in a non English speaking country, you probably do pronounce the short vowel i as long vowel E. In my five years of tutoring students on Italki I have learned that short vowel i is the most challenging short vowel sound to say in the American English language. If you want to improve your phonetics skills/pronunciation skills then book my phonetics/pronunciation class! In that class you'll find out what letter sounds you can't pronounce correctly and get guidance and instruction on how to improve those letter sounds. So you can be well on your way to a clearer more understandable English speaker.
