"I slightly opened the door" is better. "I left the door slightly ajar" would also be good. "I partially opened the door" would so be fine. Usually putting the adverb before the verb sounds better than at the end of the sentence, especially when there are two verbs, because it can be unclear which verb the adverb applies to. For example "I grabbed and threw the ball quickly." Did I quickly grab it or quickly throw it?
