Yes; specifically, no paper money.

Kind of. If I said that, I would mean that I don't have paper money with me. However, I might have money in the form of a debit card or a credit card.

Hey Farhana, Sometimes people also say: I dont have my cards on me (referring to credit/debit cards). These days, cards are more used in the US than cash - but it is essentially the same thing. Money: can be cash, cards, crypto, etc - so I wouldnt say cash and money are interchangable. What we really gotta wonder is: Whats causing our friend to keep using this excuse after dinners? lol
