Foreigners usually don't believe that people live in 50-60 degrees below zero in my Republic. It's so normal for us. People wear fur coat ,personally I wear a down jacket. Our winters shoes are made of deer's skin.

“Deer’s skin” works, but to my ears it sounds better to say “deer hide.” Шкура = hide (a noun).
