Community TutorHow can I learn Japanese by myself without going out of my home?
Hello everyone, I'm Talia Chi from Vietnam. I learnt Japanese form online courses, friends, movies and mangas for years. Finally, I got JLPT N2 3 years ago. So I wanted to share with you some of the most effective tools which I used to learn.
1. Dictionary: You can use Goldendict on your phone and computer as well. It is a dictionary platform which can include multi-language dictionary. It is a good dictionary as far as I know.
2. A Japanese text reader: I suggest you use rikaichan add on if you use Firefox. It helps you read every Japanese article with English definition along.
3. Novels: Although Japan is strict about free novels, they provide us many classical novels from famous authors. You can easily find them on aozora bunko (a Japanese library online). You can enjoy Japanese literature anytime, anywhere without wifi because they can be downloaded easily.
4. Flashcards: You can make a self-made flashcards to improve your skill and enlarge your vocabulary range.
These are all of my most effective ways of learning Japanese.
How about your style of learning Japanese? Can you share your experiences here?
