Exercise from Step by Step Serbian by Mirjana Danilovic Translate the following: "Please, one Turkish coffee without sugar and one black tea with lemon." The key gives the answer as: "Molim vas, tursku kafu bez šećera i crni čaj sa limunom." If I understand correctly, "tursku kafu" is in accusative case but "crni čaj" is in nominative, even though both are subject to an implied "I want/I would like." Why is this? Why is it NOT "Molim vas, tursku kafu bez šećera i crnog čaja sa limunom"? Hvala mnogo!

"Crni čaj" is nominative, but also accusative :)

Both, *tursku kafu* and *crni čaj* are accusative. Just, for masculine nouns, the word doesn't change (so accusative form is the same as nominative form). For example * jedem zelenu salatu (f.), krastavac (m.) i sir (m.) *
