Friends came from other families, also cultures. Different family's life perspectives mostly show some differences. If we look for a buddy who is a good fit for us, we will find someone appropriate for our viewpoint. We would like to be assessed by an idea not so distant. In the communication circumstances, the friend must be him/herself and, he/her must accept you like yourself. If the friend sees any wrong way on you, he/she must recommend you the better way with a kind attitude. The friend must accept that it could be mutual.

I’m not sure what you mean by “assessed by an idea not so distant.” I would also recommend using “they” and “themselves” instead of he/her and him/herself
