Do you know what Pokemon characters are called in different languages?
Pikachu, the most popular character worldwide, has a consistent name in most languages. However, some characters’ names may differ in another language.
In French, Jigglypuff is called “Rondoudou,” combining rond (“round”) and doudou (“security blanket”). In German, it’s called “Pummeluff”, combining pummelig (“chubby”) and fluff. In Japanese, its name is “Purin,” which literally means “pudding.”
If you know other characters’ names in your native language, do not hesitate! Take part in the #PokemonGoWorlds and share it with us. The time is running out.
