Professional TeacherDALF C1: Exam Structure
The DALF C1 assesses the ability to understand complex documents and communicate clearly, coherently and effectively in academic, professional and social contexts.
The written exam consists of two production tasks:
- A synthesis: several documents must be compared and their main ideas presented in a structured, objective text.
- An argumentative essay: the candidate must develop a clear position on a given topic, using relevant arguments and examples.
The oral exam consists of a structured presentation based on several documents, followed by a discussion with the examiner.
