Hi! I wrote a letter to my previous host mother when I was au pair in Australia. Is it possible to check my sentences?  Especially grammar. Thank you! ------------------------------- Happy Birthday, Alice! How are you? I think you are busy. Actually, I left au pair. Because the parents are selfish and they didn't discipline their children. And, the children were addicted to TV, tablet and sugar. I was sad about that.   Anyway, I started volunteering for free accommodation. I don't get any money, but I need a comfortable place and people, and I would like to know the culture. At first, I moved to Northern Ireland. I renovated a house in the town, it was like Paddington's house! Then, I know Irish and British architecture a little bit. Next, I moved to the countryside, it is only 20 miles away from the town. However, it is an amazing place for me, because of lots of nature, animals and not many people. The next-door lives in 3 min away by car. Haha. It is like a story. Especially, I was really boring when I live in a town because of lockdown. However, I can enjoy the walk and talk with a cat and dogs. The best point is the host family is friendly and kind. They tell me about my English mistake sometimes. I am enjoying life in the UK. Thank you for bringing me there. My adventure is still going!   I would like to host you when you travel to Canada or Norway or Japan. Actually, the family trip with you is the first in my life. I know a family trip is important for the family relationship. I would like to plan on December because you said want to show Connor and Sophia the white Christmas. Probably there is a white Christmas in Canada or Norway. In either case, it is far from Australia. And dark, really really cold for you! Haha. Think about it! I’m happy to host you! In the end, I would like to tell you a nice phrase and I think about you like that. "Forever My Mum And Always My Friend." You are my best mum in my life.

Happy Birthday, Alice! How are you? I think you might be busy. I left my au pair position, because the parents were selfish and they didn't discipline their children. Also, the children were addicted to TV, their tablets and sugar. I was sad about that. Anyway, I started volunteering which meant I got free accommodation. I didn't get any money, but I needed a comfortable place to live and people to meet, and I wanted to find out about the culture. Then, I moved to Northern Ireland. I rented a house in the town, it was like Paddington's house! I learnt a little bit about British and Irish architecture. Next, I moved to the countryside, it is only 20 miles away from the town. However, it is an amazing place for me, because there is lots of nature, animals and not many people. The next-door neigbour is 3 minutes away by car. Haha. It is like a story. Especially because I was really bored when I lived in the town because of lockdown. However, now I can enjoy walking and talking to a cat and dogs. The best point is that the host family is friendly and kind. They tell me about my English mistakes sometimes. I am enjoying life in the UK. Thank you for bringing me there. My adventure is still going! I would like to host you when you travel to Canada or Norway or Japan. Actually, the family trip with you will be the first in my life. I know a family trip is important for the family relationship. I would like to plan on December because you said you wanted to show Connor and Sophia a white Christmas. Probably there is a white Christmas in Canada or Norway. In either case, it is far from Australia. And dark, really really cold for you! Haha. Think about it! I’m happy to host you! Finally, I would like to tell you a nice phrase and let you know I think about you like that. "Forever My Mum And Always My Friend." You are the best mum in my life.
You can use 'Actually' at the start if Alice has just asked you about your au pair job. Did Alice 'bring' you to the UK or help you to get there? Where was the au pair place? In Northern Ireland or England? I am not exactly sure what happened. 1 You were an au pair somewhere 2 Yo got a volunteering job 3 You moved to a town in Notthern Ireland 4 You got a job as an au pair in the countryside Is this correct? Sounds great, I am sure Alice will be very happy to receive this.

I was really bored (when I lived in town? You can delete this) because of lockdown. However, I enjoyed the walks and talking with a cat and dogs. The best thing is that the host family is friendly and kind. They correct my English mistakes sometimes. I am enjoying life in the UK. Thank you for bringing me there. My adventure is still going! In either case, it is far from Australia. It's dark and really really cold for you! Haha. Think about it! I’m happy to host you! I would like to leave you a nice phrase and one that makes me think of you. "Forever My Mum And Always My Friend." You are the best mum in my life.

This letter is quite amazing. It felt like I am reading a story from some book. Keep sharing your thoughts like this, after all sharing is caring and we all have so many stories, experiences and incidents in our lives.
