Community Tutor🌟 DAY 14/30: The 'SELF' Hindi Challenge 🌟
नमस्ते (Namaste)! 🙏
We are officially two weeks into our challenge! To celebrate reaching this milestone, today we are focusing on a word that connects people and builds deep relationships.
Today’s Word: दोस्त (Dost)
Meaning: Friend
How to use it: "वह मेरा दोस्त है।"
(for a male friend)
(Vah mera dost hai.) "He is my friend."
"वह मेरी दोस्त है।"
(for a female friend)
(Vah meri dost hai.) "She is my friend."
💡 TEACHER'S TIP: In India, friendship is highly valued, and you will often hear people use the word दोस्ती (Dosti), which means "friendship." A very popular phrase to know is:
"हमारी दोस्ती बहुत पक्की है।"
(Hamari dosti bahut pakki hai.) "Our friendship is very strong."
📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Do you have a दोस्त who is also learning Hindi, or someone you want to practice with? Write a message wishing your friends a great day!
Let's spread some positive energy today! 👇
